Toxic Foam From Industrial Waste Is Covering This Town

The Bellandur Lake in Bengaluru is one of India's most polluted bodies of water, where nearly 500 million liters of untreated sewage flow into the lake each year. It's even known to fill with toxic foam at times.

The foam is reportedly toxic and carcinogenic. It causes breathing difficulties, irritation on the skin, and an unbearable stench.

Earlier this year the lake caught fire, causing thick smoke and smog for people who lived in the area. Now it is flooding local roads, causing traffic issues.
