IBM and MIT invest $240M in AI research lab

IBM and MIT have united to launch an artificial intelligence lab. The focus on the research center will focus on healthcare and cybersecurity. The $240 million collaboration will bring together 100 experts over 10 years. "The extremely broad and deep technical capabilities and talent at MIT and IBM are unmatched, and will lead the field of AI for at least the next decade" Dr. John Kelly III, IBM senior vice president
