Christy Velasquez, of Pasadena, Texas, shared an emotional video to YouTube, September 2, of her father, who has Alzheimer’s, working up the strength to treat her mother to a dance on her 80th birthday.Velazquez write, “Alzheimer’s has taken away my Daddy’s ability to dance but today is Mama’s 80th birthday and we don’t know what next year will bring so needed to give my Mama this special moment. Happy 80th birthday Mommy.” The footage shows clearly emotional family members helping Velasquez’s father dance with his wife.The clip had received 642,000 views on Facebook at the time of writing.
