ADNAN OKTAR: I have no claim of being the Mahdi. I am saying this once more. The signs are similar. It is true. But having such a claim would be completely insincere. It would be very inappropriate. While describing the Mahdi, "Mahdi is well-built." Do I have to state "I am not implying that I am the Mahdi"? I do not necessarily have to state so. I have no such claims, anyway. "He is well-built in stature." It is indeed a similar quality. "He has an upturned and small nose." True. "He has a mole on his back." I, too, have a mole on my back. "He has a big mole on his chest." I do have a mole on my chest like a tree leaf. But this is not sufficient to be the Mahdi. Even if there are a hundred signs of being the Mahdi and all of them exist, it still would not be sufficient to be the Mahdi. How will the Mahdi be recognized? He will be recognized by successfully completing his mission. When he completes it, it does not matter if you believe him to be the Mahdi or not. There is only one sign, and that is success. The other signs except success only give our hearts a sense of relief and contentment. If that person still exhibits the signs of being the Mahdi after he completed his mission, how wonderful. It would only deepen our love towards the Messenger of God (saas). It is a miracle. There is no other explanation. But there is no such thing as, "He has a mole on his back. This means he is the Mahdi." What do we do then? "We have to follow him." This is unacceptable. The proof of Mahdi lies in his success. If a person appears and unites the entire Islamic community, if a person known as Jesus Messiah comes and they perform prayer together; then I will say "God knows the best, he is the Mahdi." Otherwise, it would be wrong to assume someone as the Mahdi. Do I have the signs of the Mahdi? This is why I am saying this. I can proudly say that I have almost all the signs of the Mahdi. It is true. But this does not imply anything. Many others may have similar signs, too. In fact, they may even show greater signs. But none of these mean anything in terms of the claim of being the Mahdi. How does the verse of God come true? When He has established the reign of Islam by virtue of a person.  This would be an explicit, unequivocal sign of that person being the Mahdi. It would be plain and obvious. In this case, if people say "We believe this person to be the Mahdi," they would not be at fault. But if they say, "He has a mole on his back, or he has a mole on his leg. So, I believe this person to be the Mahdi," then they will be at fault. This would not be in accordance with the Qur'an and also it wouldn’t be reasonable. It would be an illogical reasoning.
