#7 Lost Arm at the Guwahati Zoo\r
\r
To jump a fence is kind of a given in a list about zoo accidents, but the results are always horrifying. Keep in mind people, barriers are not there to destroy your perfect animal photo theyre basically there to keep you from being on the lunch menu. A 50-year-old man with a hard name to pronounce, visited the Guwahati ZOO with his family as part of their vacation. As we all know the pressure on vacation photos is huge, not mentioning the fierce Facebook competition, so he decided to sneak to the inner enclosure and snap some artsy photos from the perfect angle. While working his paparazzi magic, a female lion grabbed his arm. Before the zookeepers could stop him or come in rescue, a male tiger appeared and ripped his arm off. \r

#6 Jumbo The Circus Elephant\r
\r
The Franklin Zoo in Auckland, New Zealand, was supposed to be a safe home for Mila, an African elephant who endured years of maltreatment in the circus. With the loving care of Ms. Schofield, the zoo owner, Mila better known by her performing and very unoriginal name Jumbo, was nursed back to health. Unfortunately, her panic attacks and fear of being hurt again led to a tragic event. In April new, the deeply distressed Mila crushed Ms. Schofield in an attempt to wrap its trunk around her body.\r

#5 Ellie Quo\r
\r
In 1989, the 32-year- old Australian Ellie Quo was told by his instructor that his martial arts mastership was so advanced he could “kill wild animals with his bare hands.” So, Quo sneaked into the Melbourne Zoo in the middle of the night and decided to put his Kung Fu skills to test by fighting with lions. Needless to say, the lions won. Two arms and hands were the only thing employees found the next morning. Well, Ellie thats one crazy way to die.\r

#4 Gu Gu Panda\r
\r
Gu Gu is not your typical cuddly cute panda, but more of a Kung Fu panda. He first gained notoriety in 2006 when he bit the leg of a visitor. In Gu Gus defense the man was drunk and attempted to hug him. He even tried to bite the panda back, but his counter attack failed. A year later, a 15- year- old boy jumped into the enclosure during dinner time. Gu Gu was not impressed by the boys intrusion and ripped his leg. In the third incident, a zoo visitor jumped into the enclosure in an attempt to retrieve his sons toy and got his leg terribly bitten. Clearly, Gu Gu has a thing for legs, so if you want to keep yours, dont jump in his home at the Beijing Zoo where he lives happily despite being a multiple offender.\r
\r
#3 Tatiana\r
\r
If you are looking for Tatiana, you will find it in the ZOO dictionary under Russian for overly aggressive Siberian Tiger. Her reputation at the San Francisco ZOO as the notorious, vicious animal was sealed on Christmas Day 2007 when she killed a 17-year old boy, and injured two more before she was shot by the police. The initial investigation showed that during the incident the boys were drunk, trying to torment and provoke Tatiana.\r

#2 Tilikum the Orca\r
\r
Tilly is a very cute nickname for orca that killed three people. He is the largest killer whale in captivity and he is literally a killer whale. Tilikum was captured in 1983 near Reykjavík, and sent to British Columbia, Canada. In February 1991 along with two female whales he submerged a marine biology student after she had fallen into the pool. Turned out that both females were pregnant and were trying to protect their offspring. The following year, Tilly was moved to SeaWorld Orlando in Florida where in July 1999, he killed the 27-year-old visitor Daniel Dukes who snuck into the tank after working hours.
