White House: Trump 'Made A Joke' About Comparing His IQ To Tillerson's

Sarah Huckabee Sanders said on Tuesday that President Trump "made a joke" about comparing his IQ to that of Rex Tillerson's.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during a Tuesday press briefing that President Trump’s IQ test challenge to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was just a joke.
Her clarification came not long after Forbes published an interview with Trump, in which the president commented on the recent NBC News report that Tillerson called him a “moron.”
“I think it's fake news, but if he did that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests," Trump told Forbes. "And I can tell you who is going to win.”
During the briefing, Sanders was asked why the president would appoint a secretary he didn’t feel was “particularly smart.”
“The president certainly never implied that the secretary of state was not incredibly intelligent. He made a joke, nothing more than that," Sanders responded. "He has full confidence in the secretary of state. They had a great visit earlier today. And they are working hand in hand to move the president's agenda forward."
