Twitter suspends Rose McGowan’s account after tweets about Weinstein [Mic Archives]

Actress Rose McGowan’s Twitter account was temporarily suspended overnight after she posted a series of tweets about accused sexual harasser and assailant Harvey Weinstein. In 2016, McGowan spoke to ‘Mic’ about an impending war on women and the challenges for women the newly-elected administration presented. “If you hear somebody being derogatory or thinking, “Oh, it’s OK, it’s just women,” McGowan said, “It’s not OK. It’s not ‘iust women.’ We are human.”
