Women Boycott Twitter.
That’s the latest hashtag to make the rounds on the social media site after a slew of high profile women including, Alyssa Milano, Chrissy Teigen, Kathy Griffin – and even male stars like Mark Ruffalo – saying they’d steer clear of the app for a day.
It comes in the wake of Rose McGowan’s suspension from the site after she criticized Harvey Weinstein and other prominent actors and figures in the industry of sexual assault.
Twitter insists she was booted temporarily for publishing a private phone number among a large number of tweets who was not critical of the disgraced movie mogul.

And stars like Alyssa are writing that Friday the 13th will be the first day in over 10 years that she won’t tweet. And she asks other to join in her in the protest.
Twitter has a reported 328 million users.
