Cheapo Tech: DigiLand DL801W 8 Windows 8.1 Tablet Review

  • 7 лет назад
Unboxing and video review of the DigiLand DL801W 8 Windows 8.1 tablet. It features Intel Quad Core processor, 8 HD display 1280x800, 16GB storage, 1GB memory, and front/rear facing cameras. Its a really cheap tablet but has basic PC functions.\r
\r
Update 1: I found a bluetooth keyboard for it for only $7! Here is the video for it:\r
\r
\r
Update 2: 128GB SD card didnt work. System will recognize and format it but files wont hold integrity. Max is 32GB.\r
\r
Update 3: Thanks for all the comments about the USB connectivity. Apparently, the micro USB port is not just for charging; it works for USB devices too. You just need an OTG cable.\r
\r
Update 4: Due to the small size, some touch functions are hard to use, such as the close button on a Firefox tab. Ive tried a fat rubber stylus, but it didnt help. Maybe a thin metal/plastic stylus will work.\r
\r
Update 5: Sold the tablet due to the screen touch response inaccuracy (not a severe problem, but for some small things you cant touch accurately), CPU speed (for some reason, somethings are slower than this kind of CPU should be able to handle), and fatal flaw of home networking. It takes a few minutes to connect to another computers hard drive on my home network (wifi), rather than instantaneously, after sleep. Its annoying, although it eventually worked.
