In this video I am home making a basking area for Mr Turtle. I was inspired by BauriBob and his Making Stuff For your Turtle Tank vid to make this basking area. I have used PVC piping and egg crate to make the Zoo Med Turtle Dock a more secure and private dock for a larger turtle. Not to mention, I think it will be a lot more attrive in the tank.\r
\r
Materials I used;\r
\r
1/2 in PVC plumbing pipe from Lowes. $1.68 for 8 feet.\r
1/2 in side outlet elbows to make corners from Lowes. $1.18 ea.\r
Kobalt 1 1/4in PVC pipe cutting tool from Lowes. $9.97\r
Kobalt 12in metal file from Lowes. $8.98\r
Assorted Cable Ties 500 count from Lowes. $8.48\r
Eggcrate from Lowes. $12.97\r
Zoo Med Large Turtle Dock from Petsmart. $32.99\r
