Oliver Stone and his collaborators closely examine the late President Franklin D.Roosevelt and how the country got involved during the Second World War and the American global role at a time when Germany was busy conquering different countries in Europe.Added to that,we also get to examine the relationship between Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.Also,we get to re-examine Henry Wallace,the former Vice-President during the Roosevelt administration and his possible effect had he once again won in 1944.We also investigate the building of the American Empire.Aside these events of US history,it also tackles the start of the second World War and the atrocities done by Germany while conquering different countries that sparked the start of World War II.Finally,it also provides the activities conducted by the United States when it wasn't involved yet in the war.
