San Jose To Require Gun Owners To Lock Up All Firearms
The state of California and most of their larger city governments don’t care about your right to self-defense. They might give a little lip service to it, but it’s not something anyone in those governments thinks about too much.
Take the latest example, which comes from San Jose:
City residents who own guns will have to to lock them up when they leave home under a new law set to take effect in December.
The San Jose City Council approved the hotly-debated ordinance on a 6-5 vote late Tuesday, with some of the city’s elected leaders favoring stronger protections. The San Jose law is similar to safe-storage gun laws in San Francisco, Oakland, Sunnyvale and Berkeley. State law requires that guns be locked up or secured only in homes with young children.

Nancy Sinatra suggests NRA members should all be killed
Singer Nancy Sinatra, daughter of the legendary Frank Sinatra, started a Twitter war on Thursday when she suggested that members of the National Rifle Association (NRA) should be killed by firing squad (see below).
Sinatra may not have been aware at the time of her tweet that there are roughly 5 million members of the NRA, and that those members are largely peaceful, law-abiding, United States citizens.

Las Vegas tragedy triggers gun control hysteria; backfires on amnesty debate
Hillary Clinton, who for some odd reason simply refuses to accept clear evidence that half the country doesn't share her belief that she ever had a rendezvous with destiny, tweeted "Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA and work together to stop this from happening again."
U.S. House Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) asked House Speaker Paul Ryan in a tweet, "How many Americans have to die before you do your job? Allow us to have a debate and a vote."

HuffPo Reporter Calls For Gun Control Hours After Las Vegas Massacre
A Huffington Post political reporter called on Congress to enact more extensive gun control measures Monday as the death toll continues rising in Las Vegas.
A shooting Sunday night in Nevada is considered the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
Jennifer Bendery, a senior HuffPo political reporter briefly recounted the carnage inflicted on concertgoers Sunday night and then quickly pivoted toward a call for legislative progress on gun control.
Vegas mass shooting: 50 dead (at least). 200 injured.
Congress won't do anything about gun laws.

Facebook Censors Pro-Gun Video Mocking Weapon Hysteria
Facebook censored a pro-gun video of a user mocking the hysteria around how “easy” it allegedly is to convert rifles to automatic fire.
The video can be seen here, but can’t be embedded because it “may show graphic violence or gore.”
The censored video doesn’t show violence or gore. It shows Facebook user Andy Orlando disassembling a rifle and handgun while joking about converting them to automatic fire.
