FPV Freerider recharged - all maps preview - small review in info
Hi all,\r
today I got the new recharged version of FPV Freerider so I decided to make a little preview of all maps. \r

The difference in graphic quality is huge and the maps (most) are completely new. They are bigger and way more interesting. When you first try the race it is a bit confusing seeing the next gate, specially in desert map where is hard to see the next gate, but with a little price you get the right way to do it. All the race have a nice fluidity and big horizontal changes that makes them fun to fly. In all a very nice upgrade to the original sim. I only miss 1 thing the little triangle thing in the original desert map.\r
The physics seems the same and if you have the older version all your custom settings are loaded automatically into the new one. A big change is that in LOS mode you can switch off the zoom, a big big improvement that make LOS price flying way better. There is a new snappy 2 preset and I feel is less snappy (there is some lag in respect to the snappy preset) maybe more realistic not really sure as my 1st acro quad is still on the drawing table waiting for all the pieces to come together.\r

Desert\r
Very nice map with a lot of little tunnels to go thru and fly around. Only thing I miss the triangle thing I love to play with and challenge myself with. Pls get it back.\r

Forest\r
Another completely new map in the woods. It is the most taxing on you pc. Seems like the biggest one and the most fun to fly out of race as it have, well a forest you can fly in. In the race you follow a narrow road , a lot of vertical changes and some branches and fallen treas you have to avoid. \r

Rocks\r
Another new map that is a piece of a mountain. A little bit hard to find gates at first but when you get it it becomes a very very fast map to fly with the tunnel pas you can zip thru full speed. Very nice to explore in free flight also.\r

Car park\r
Almost identical to the old map with some minor difference for race gate at the end. I am not sure but the pillars distance seems a bit wider than the original map.\r

Conclusion\r
If you liked the first version you will like this recharged a lot more, the graphic and the size of maps are worth the few $ you pay for the upgrade. I love all the new maps they are way more interesting and you can challenge yourself in many ways flying thru small gaps or zipping in the mountain at crazy speeds.\r

At this like you can buy the sim for 9.99$ + tax from your country, and if you both the first version you get 5$ off. If you want and you like the sim you can add few extra $ ;)\r
