Firefighters tackle huge blaze at Mumbai slum

Footage has emerged of a massive fire breaking out in a slum area near Mumbai’s Bandra station.
The video (filmed today) firefighters can be seen tackling the flames whilst a huge plume of smoke rises up in the air.
According to local media, an overhead pedestrian bridge at the station was engulfed in flames.
More than a dozen fire engines and nearly as many water tankers were used to fight the fire, which began at 3.15 pm in the Behrampada slum.
