Apple says new $1000 iPhone X may get screen burn-in

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple's support page for the device says that in extremely rare cases, the iPhone X OLED screen may suffer from burn-in.

This is basically a remnant image, or ghost image from a high-contrast image is displayed continuously for long periods of time.

The company says they engineered the new display to reduce the effects of burn-in.
