Chunky monkey Uncle Fatty spotted after unsuccessful stint in weight-loss camp

Footage has emerged of an obese monkey in Bangkok eating food and swaggering around with a large pot belly despite a stint in a so-called fat camp.

Rescuers spotted Uncle Fatty's dangerously overweight condition and he was sent to a monkey weight-loss camp in a conservation and animal treatment centre.

He first went viral in April 2017.

But he was released in August and still looked chubby. Despite months of dieting, he was filmed tucking into snacks at his favourite haunt by the roadside.
