Machete Axel

In this , Patrick, Axel, and baby River all work together to blaze a new trail on their property! Axels daddy even teaches him how to use the machete, and Axel does a great job cutting down branches on the trees.\r

River helps by monitoring the machete ion, and she rides around the trail in her favorite toy dump truck, Big Tonka. She just loves riding in that dumper!\r
\r
Axel and Patrick run around having a sword fight with sticks and a snow shovel. Patrick wins the fight and chases Axel into the woods. They also successfully build a fire together using a primitive fire making method: bow drill! It is so exciting making fire without matches or other modern technology! \r
\r
Sarah gets stung by a yellow jacket and has to have Patrick clip off her very special sister ring because her finger swells up. We set up traps for those stinkers, too, because getting stung is not fun for anyone-- especially Axel or baby River! :(\r
\r
Axel uses the machete to chop a watermelon, and makes mom a bit nervous in the process. Luckily, daddy is very safety conscious and ensures that the proper safety precautions are taken. Axel has a lot of fun using his machete sword.\r
