Emergency 4/911 First Responders - US Army Mod - First Glimpse 20 Minutes
By direct request of Hoppah, Ive made a game play commentary of his new modification : The US Army Modification. It revolutionizes and completely changes the gameplay you would expect. Be prepared for your mind to be blown! \r

1. CONCEPT\r
\r
The United States Army Mod is a modification for Emergency 4 and based on the presence of the US military in a Middle-Eastern region.\r
Its a freeplay focused mod and your task is to carry out missions from your base with small taskforces.\r

2. MAP\r
\r
The map is fictional, but based on a rural, Middle-Eastern region. It features a functional army base from where you will start each event.\r
The map features a town where most events happen as well as a bigger rural area, including a refugee camp, a ravine and smaller populated areas. Check out the attached pictures for previews.\r

3. EVENTS\r
\r
The US Army mod features freeplay style gameplay in a neverending gamemode. The mod contains new, unique and challanging events and only one event will spawn at a time.\r
The events range from finding and deivating IEDs to providing humantarian aid and most events contain random elements to create unpredictability and enhance replayability. By completing events you will earn points which can be spent om development, and money what can be spend on new units.\r

4. POINTS\r
\r
The most unique feature of this modification is the development tree. The development tree contains 10 different items which will add small advantages to the game.\r
Choose your development carefully, as it takes time to complete development and gaining points can be difficult, especially if you start losing men. Check out the screenshot below to find out what the tree looks like ingame. The final, 10th item, will get you the armoured M2 Bradley IFV, which has a working 25mm gun. More information about the items will be revealed later\r

5. UNITS\r
\r
The mod contains 7 playable US Army vehicles and 6 US Army persontypes so far. Each unit has at least one unique feature, which will make them important and valuable.\r
You can buy recruits ingame and train them as a soldier, medic, engineer, sniper or fire fighter.\r

\r
\r
The sixth unit, the commander, is able to call assistance from local emergency services, such as local police, ems and fire department by using his radio. There will be only one available commander in the game, so make sure to protect him well! The local emergency vehicles are slightly based on real life middle-eastern emergency vehicles.\r

\r
\r
Besides the local emergency services, the mod contains seven playable army vehicles so far: humvee, humvee ambulance, transport truck, blackhawk helicopter, flatbed truck, M2 Bradley IFV and the tical fire fighting truck. When purchasing vehicles, they will spawn and leave the cargo plane. All vehicles, besides the helicopter and tical fire fighting truck can park at one of the parking lots covered by camoflage nets. The tical fire fighting truck has its own parking lot at a hangar. The fire fighters are able to get a fire proximity suit or a HAZMAT suit. HAZMAT has the ability to set up a contamination tent.\r

6. INTERFACE\r
\r
Because the mod only features a handful of units, I have redesigned some interface elements. The window where the buttons to the vehicle browsers used to be, has been replaced. This window contains buttons to purchase vehicles or recruits, a button to open the development window and information about the current ive mission.\r

7. CURRENT PROGRESS\r

As usual, the first question that comes to mind: When will it be released?\r
A beta version will hopefully be released before the summer vacation (July new)
