LE LOCOMOTION, the French version, was recorded by Sylvie Vartan when she was only 18 years old, and came out just a few months after the one by Little Eva, and would be one of Sylvie’s first big hits. In this video here, Sylvie Vartan sings LE LOCOMOTION once more at the Palais des Congrès on February 9, 2008 although 46 years later! Without a doubt, this is one of the songs that helped propel her into stardom. Near the end of this video, the band plays a short version of the song JOHNNY B. GOODE (Johnny be good). Could this have been a message from Sylvie to Johnny Hallyday?
