Traditionally America's first Thanksgiving was celebrated at Plymouth Plantation in 1621, almost 4 centuries ago. The Spanish arrived in North America more than 100 years before that. After all that time, perhaps we should figure out how to get along with and learn from the indigenous people we've abused and displaced. Here's one small way to start.
