Ajay Devgn and the makers of film Tanaji is scared for Tanaji Malusare's biopic and the reason is film Padmavati Controversy. Padmavti was set to release on 1st December but now the release has been postponed and makers are still facing protest. Like Padmavati, Ajay Devgn was also palnning to make a period drama film, Tananji. A source said, "The film Taanaji is based on the Marathi warrior Malusare, who fought the battle of Pratapgad and died. The fort was named Sinhagad later. The interesting point was that he recaptured the fort from the Mughals, but the custodian of the fort was a Rajput named Udaybhan Rathod. The film is being produced by Viacom, which is also producing Padmavati. They now want to ensure that that everything is in order in terms of the script and they are not hurting any sentiments of either the Rajputs or the Marathas, or even the Mughals for that matter."
