Kevin Feige Wishes Marvel Beat DC To The First Female Supehero Film

DC's Wonder Woman did great in 2017, not only making more than $820 million worldwide, but also breaking the barrier of bringing a female-driven superhero movie into theaters. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel studios told Vanity Fair he wishes it was Marvel and not DC that that brought the first female superhero to the big screen. Yet Marvel already has plans of making a female superhero movie of their own with Captain Marvel having a set 2019 premiere.
