Barcelona’s Luis Suarez SCREAMS at 'midget s**' assistant referee over Messi ghost goal
LUIS SUAREZ is renowned for wearing his heart on his sleeve – but the Uruguayan lost the plot after Barcelona were denied a goal at Valencia.
Lionel Messi had the ball over the line in the first half at the Mestalla Stadium, firing the ball through Valencia goalkeeper Neto’s hands.
It clearly dribbled over the line before the panicked keeper managed to scramble and recover it – but the officials failed to spot the goal.
Barcelona players had wheeled away to celebrate – but they were left horrified as the game continued around them.
Valencia charged up the other end of the pitch and nearly scored with a blistering counter-attack to leave the Barca team livid.
Tempers flared – even the usually-placid Messi was seen berating the linesman – but their protests were in vain as the goal was not given.
Cameras caught former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez hurling obscenities at the linesman, labelling him a “midget s***” before the game continued.
“Classic Suarez. Tells it like it is,” wrote one viewer.

Suarez held nothing back as he berated the officials for missing the call
“Although I'm glad we have other cooler heads on the team.”
But another wrote: “In this day and age with high-speed cameras and computer vision technology.
“It's wholly unnecessary and really just plain stupid to have linesman run up and down the field trying to keep up with some of the world's greatest athletes just to tell whether or not a ball passed the line.
“I don't think he did a good job on the decision obviously, but there's no need for personal attacks.”
