Recent OPR hike 'enough' for now, says MIER

The recent 25 basis point hike in the overnight policy rate (OPR) to 3.25 percent is sufficient for now as the prices of goods have largely stabilised although inflation has been rising, said the Malaysian Institute Of Economic Research (MIER).

It further anticipated that that the real OPR will remain negative despite the hike on July 10th.
