CRuNCH 22 are three hyperactive, partly disturbed musicians, producing live psychedelic grooves from a strange combination of Rhodes-Piano (Tomer Baruch), Drums (Roy Chen), And Turntables (Erez Todres). Mixing funk, drum'n'bass, blues, dub and afrobeat, this trio manages to turn every concert into a surprise party. (surprise!) After playing in most major festivals in Israel, their critically acclaimed debut album and 7-inch vinyl record were released in the summer of 2013 on boutique Israeli label "Audio Montage", triggering the band's first European tour.
CRuNCH 22’s members embrace futuristic musical direction,
Creating a dive into mind depths, parallel to strong will for body moving.
Their second album, issued on February 2016 on a limited edition gatefold vinyl, is a musical journey inspired by “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. The album follow the plot, combining twisted rhythms, abstract melodies, sounds from outer space together with a unique and old story version samples, and creating new exegetics for that all time psychedelic creation.
The Band works on a new EP which will be out during 2017.
