La RitMic (Ritmo Micrófono) es una banda mendocina de música hip hop / rap, principalmente inclinada hacia la fusión de géneros como el funk, jazz, soul y blues. Al grupo lo encabezan Mauro Chacón (rapero) y Martin Musso (músico), quienes vienen trabajando juntos en distintas bandas hace varios años.
Nació en 2013 en Mendoza (Argentina) de la mano de Martín Musso, Mauro Chacón, Valentín Bruno y Lucas Lucchetti, con la idea de unir en un mismo escenario a músicos tocando en vivo y raperos, llevando a cabo un show de improvisación, freestyle y jam session.
Ya en la ruta, la agrupación recorrió la provincia y tocó en los festivales más importantes: Flow del Pedemonte (Godoy Cruz), Hit Tha Beat (San Martín), Vendimia Urbana (Cdad), y MendoFlow (Las Heras), entre otros. Al poco tiempo, y con gran aceptación del público, llegaron las primeras giras por Chile, San Juan (2015) y Bs.As (2016).
En mayo de 2015 Mauro y Martín, junto a Valentín Bruno y el productor Lucas Lucchetti, comenzaron a trabajar en la preproducción del tan ansiado primer disco del grupo. En septiembre del mismo año empezaron a grabar en los estudios AVI Music (Mza). Para dicho trabajo, también se sumaron Martin Gorbano (trompeta) y Adrián Chirizzi (percusión).
La placa cuenta con 9 canciones cuyas letras están basadas en experiencias y pensamientos cotidianos, escritas por una persona que vive normalmente el día a día. La música va desde el rap crudo hasta el reggae, pasando por el soul, con mucha dosis de funk, algo de dub y de folclore nacional, y un rose con el hardcore.

La RitMic (Ritmo Micrófono or Rythm Microphone) is a hip hop / rap music group from Mendoza, mainly leaning towards funk, jazz, soul and blues fusion. Mauro Chacón (rap) and Martín Musso (music), who have been working together in different musical projects for several years, lead the band.
La RitMic was created in 2013 in Mendoza, Argentina, by Martín Musso, Mauro Chacón, Valentín Bruno and Lucas Luchetti. Their goal was to have both rappers and live music in the same stage, in an improvised, freestyle, jam session.
On tour, the group got to play in several important festivals all across Mendoza: Flow del Pedemonte (Godoy Cruz), Hit Tha Beat (San Martín), Vendimia Urbana (Mendoza City), and Mendoflow (Las Heras). After being widely accepted by the mendocine audience, they got to tour through Chile, San Juan (2015) and Buenos Aires (2016).
In May 2015, Mauro and Martín, along with Valentín Bruno and producer Lucas Luchetti, started working on the pre-production of the band's first album. In September 2015, they started recording their album in the AVI Music studios (Mendoza), with the help of Martín Gorbano (trumpet) and Adrián Chirizzi (percussion).
The album consists on 9 tracks which lyrics are based on ordinary people and everyday thoughts and experiences. Music styles ranges from raw rap to reggae, going through soul, lots of funk, some dub and national folk music, and finally touching a bit of hardcore.
