“Io secondo Woody” è il primo disco del cantautore Giacomo Palombino, in arte LePuc. Undici canzoni registrate nelle sale del Sanità Music Studio, sotto la produzione esecutiva della Apogeo Records, etichetta discografica sociale, per un album che cerca di essere il rifugio che raccoglie le piccole tracce di storie quotidiane.
Il lavoro, registrato e missato da Rosario Emiro Acunto, è distribuito da Edel Italy e Claudio Poggi, storico produttore di Pino Daniele.
Giacomo Palombino nasce a Cassino, laureatosi in Giurisprudenza a Napoli, inizia ad esibirsi lontano dall’Italia, più precisamente in Spagna. È sui palchi dei club di Salamanca, infatti, che nasce LePuc: un’altra persona, una maschera che ha la forma di un cappello.
Giacomo e LePuc sono la stessa persona, ma non proprio. O almeno non sempre. La strada rimane unica, ma i paesaggi diversi, e forse anche il modo di guardarli.
L’esordio discografico di LePuc, così, arriva dopo un anno trascorso a suonare sui marciapiedi d’Europa e nei locali d’Italia.
Gli arrangiamenti del disco (masterizzato presso il Nut Studio di Napoli) s’ispirano alla tradizione della musica d’autore italiana e sono stati curati, oltre che dallo stesso Palombino, dai musicisti intervenuti. Tra questi: Luciano Cicero (basso), Tiziano Cicero (batteria e timbales), Salvatore Carlino (congas), Enrico Valanzuolo (tromba), Francesco Fabiani (chitarra).
"Io Secondo Woody" is the first record of the singer Giacomo Palombino, in the art of LePuc. Eleven songs recorded in the halls of the Sanità Music Studio, under the executive production of Apogeo Records, a social record label, for an album that tries to be the haven that gathers the little traces of daily stories.
The work, recorded and played by Rosario Emiro Acunto, is distributed by Edel Italy and Claudio Poggi, a historic producer of Pino Daniele.
Giacomo Palombino was born in Cassino, graduating in Law in Naples, and began to perform far from Italy, more precisely in Spain. It is on Salamanca club stage, in fact, that LePuc is born: another person, a mask that has the shape of a hat.
Giacomo and LePuc are the same person, but not really. Or at least not always. The road remains unique, but the different landscapes, and perhaps the way to look at them.
LePuc's record debut, then, comes after a year spent playing on the sidewalks of Europe and the venues of Italy.
The arrangements of the disc (recorded at the Nut Studio in Naples) inspire the tradition of Italian music and have been cared for, as well as by Palombino himself, by the musicians intervening. Among them are Luciano Cicero (bass), Tiziano Cicero (drums and timbales), Salvatore Carlino (congas), Enrico Valanzuolo (trumpet), Francesco Fabiani (guitar).
