Liverpool-born Jonny Walker is a singer-songwriter, professional musician, street performer and campaigner.
His rich vocals, sensitive guitar playing (taught by acclaimed guitar master Jon Gommand) hauntingly beautiful songs have engaged an ever-growing international audience who watch his regular livestreams from the streets and the stages of the UK and beyond in their thousands each week.
Jonny has been described as a heady mix of Dylan, Neil Young and Leonard Cohen.
He is a natural storyteller whose lyrics challenge the depths. His debut EP 'This Is Not Me' was released in 2012 to sparkling reviews and is currently recording his debut album which is due for release in 2018.
Jonny Walker had a first brilliant Tour São Paulo in October 19 to 29 performing gigs, busking, invitations to play in St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral and Culture Secretary, radio interview, music channels, library, gardens.
Jonny Walker: "Song For Bernie was written in memory of a homeless lady who used to watch me playing music on the streets of Liverpool every weekend with her partner Tommy until she sadly passed away around 10 years ago. Playing music on the streets means that you meet people every walk of life and form unlikely friendships with people who are all too overlooked. This song is written for all Bernies who it is all too easy for us to overlook. After her death, Bernie's partner Tommy got sober and became an outreach worker and over the last years has helpded hundreds of vulnerable people make lasting changes in their lives. You never know what lasting impact a friendship can have upon your life. This song is dedicated to Bernie and Tommy."
