Papa Le Gál have been crafting their easily identiable sound since 2009.
As eclectic and diverse as their musical backgrounds, Papa brings a fresh and infectious fusion of Afrobeat/Latin/Funk and Reggae
At a Papa gig you can expect bass heavy worldy grooves, inventive percussive engineering producing a non-stop mixture of styles that keep you guessing. Banging hooky riffs that provide the astoundingly positive atmosphere that is characteristically Papa, all laced with strong, rhythmic vocals and soulfully inspirational lyrics.
2016 has seen Papa Le Gál tearing it up with a UK Tour, a supporting tour of Europe and Russia and the release of their single ‘Good Times’.
2017 is set to be a busy one for Papa: kicking o new years day with the eagerly awaited release of their new single ‘Sweet Love’ soon to be followed by it’s accompanying music video. A tour of the Alps in Feb will get things rolling, then returning home to leave their unique mark on the UK festival circuit this summer Papa Le Gál will certainly be one to watch.
Planned releases for the rest of the year include a “live” single and video from their European/Russian tour. Autumn will consist of a UK Tour to round up the season and as well as crowd funding what’s needed to start recording their first album in the winter.
