POTRA es el proyecto de canciones de Sofía Vitola, que a poco más de dos años ya pisa fuerte en los diferentes escenarios del país, compartiendo fechas junto a Miranda, Indios, Rosario Ortega y Julieta y los espíritus, entre otros.
Las canciones de POTRA están relatadas en primera persona por una privilegiada voz femenina que tiene una manera simple y directa de decir las cosas. Los arreglos son un claro reflejo de esto: aún con su cuota de complejidad, no pierden ese feel directo que tiene todo buen pop de guitarras.
Sofía Vitola nació en Rosario y vive en Buenos Aires hace diez años. Actualmente es corista de Lucas Martí y forma parte del proyecto “Varias Artistas”. Fue integrante de LAVIAL y guitarrista en la banda de Maria Eva Albistur.
POTRA ya se presentó en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Rosario, La Plata, San Pedro y también en Montevideo (Uruguay) y en su gira Europea en Ingolstadt, Berlin (Alemania) y Madrid (España) cuando
POTRA fue seleccionada para representar a la Argentina en el Worldmusic Festival Weltenclang que se realizó en Abril de 2015.

POTRA is the song project from Sofía Vitola, who in already 2 years has played in numerous concerts around the country, sharing gigs with Miranda!, Indios, Rosario Ortega and Julieta y los espíritus, among others.
POTRA's songs are told in the first person by a priviliged female voice in a simple and direct way of saying things. The arrangements are a clear reflection of this: even with its share of complexity, they don't lose this direct feel present in any good guitar pop songs.
Sofía Vitola was born in Rosario and has been living in Buenos Aires for the last 10 years. She is currently a backup singer for Lucas Martí and takes part in his “Varias Artistas” project. She was also part of LAVIAL and was a guitarist for Maria Eva Albistur's band.
POTRA has already played in Buenos Aires, Rosario, La Plata, San Pedro and also in Montevideo (Uruguay) and in Ingolstadt, Berlin (Germany) and Madrid (Spain) in their European tour when POTRA was chosen to represent Argentina in the Worldmusic Festival Weltenclang in April 2015.
