Serà perquè aquest músic hiperactiu estava immers en projectes com Astrio i col·laborant amb infinitat de músics de renom. 'Els Ocells i l'Stereo' (Chesapik, 2016) és un viatge després d'una setmana eterna; respirar l'aire fresc de la muntanya o una capbussada en un riu a la primavera. Cançons íntimes en clau de folk que perfilen grans espais sobre melodies aparentment senzilles. Anna Godoy a l'arpa i Susanne Paul al cello són les acompanyants ideals en el directe d'aquest petit gran descobriment que ens ofereix Santi Careta.
When you listen Santi Careta's delightful voice, you wonder how come you've never listened before. It might well be because he's been busy playing guitar in Astrio, or working with great musicians we all love. 'Els Ocells i l'Stereo' (trad. 'The Birds and the Stereo') (Chesapik, 2016) is a weekend breaker after a long day; breathing the mountain in or diving in a hot spring day. Intimate folk songs that shape open spaces over melodies not-so-simples. Harp, cello, guitar or banjos are some of the instruments (played by Anna Godoy and Susanne Pau) chosen to enjoy in live along in this solo debut of Santi Careta. A very happy discovery!
