With a heart made for music, and a voice that leaves quite an impression, BRENDAN DE CRUZ best defines who he is and what he does when he says, "as long as I'm making music, I'm happy".
Having started his musical career at 16, BRENDAN DE CRUZ now boasts a decade of performing to a large and intimate crowds alike. A singer/songwriter who uses his signature blues-rock inspired vocals to strum his mark on covers of old and new, together with his increasing chart of original compositions.
BRENDAN DE CRUZ recently serenaded us with a soulful, captivating performance of his song, I DON'T WANT TO NEED YOU. An ode to a former lover over relaxing, gentle melodies and rhythms.
Currently attached to a residency at Taste Enclave Classic in Pavilion KL, after recently being chosen to perform at Urbanscapes Music & Arts Festival 2014 (North Bangsar stage). He is in the process of recording his debut EP, scheduled for release sometime mid-year. If you can't wait that long, his next gig will be this weekend, March 7th, 2016 at The Gaslight Cafe, Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.
