PRESENTED BY JOANNE COLLINS

PRODUCED BY JOHN HOUGH & JOANNE COLLINS

Lady Grew moved from NYC to Cork City, Ireland in 2008 and quickly gained notoriety as "the pole-dancing MC". She has recorded tracks and gigged with Prince Kong, Prof Ruff Chuff, Mad EP, amongst others, putting out tunes on vinyl on Dublin labels Ghetto Quietly and !kaboogie.

Now based in Dublin, Grew has recently gone back to her roots to create comedy-musicals - singing, pole-dancing, and rapping - to narrate and perform the electronic music tracks she's collaborated on in her time in Ireland.

Lady Grew is a sex worker, and advocate for sex workers' rights, and so her feminist lyrics and shows reflect the spirit of this world, set to dancehall/punk/hip-hop beats.

Her new show "Hooker P.I." won the Fringe of the Fringe Award at the San Diego International Fringe Festival, and was nominated for the Judge's Choice Award at the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival. The show depicts a sex worker whose client dies during the act, and she devises a plan to eradicate a pack of Radical Feminist Zombies who roam the streets hell-bent on enslaving clients and eating hookers for strength.
