One year after their album "Wödscheim" was released (Oct. 2013), wosisig (founded 2007) broach new paths: The band is going on holiday and lets Sigi work alone for a while. And that's quite stupendous. A new-found intimacy does not affect the concerts' rocking directness. The piano is sometimes dreamy, sometimes hard and in-your-face, and from time to time reminisces a rhythm guitar. That's all this great voice needs. The emotional lyrics are even more present and go deep under the skin, right where they belong. Because wosisig doesn't just want to be consumed or casually listened to. Wosisig wants to move people - and is very good at that indeed.
