PRESENTED BY MIKE DESTRYCTIVE

Kyndra Joi...

brings the crowd alive with her unique baritone voice, favoring that of Nina Simone, which is a tawdry encounter between Funk, R&B and Soul. With her southern charm, Kyndra sings with passion while allowing her soul to be seen in her experiences of life and love. With that, she comes with a sound and genre all of her own...

Born and Raised in Charleston, SC, she was exposed to all genres of music such as Gullah Spirituals, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Blues, Funk, Reggae and Soul. This in turn contributed to the development of her startling range. Over the years, Kyndra has learned how to play a variety of instruments; however, her focals are now singing, song writing and producing. With her unique talents, Kyndra and her band, Soul Theory has had the opportunity to open for Great musicians such as Donald Harrison, Davell Crawford and Dr. Michael White and has also had performances in the Spring 2012 series of Jazz in the Park and performs frequently on Frenchmen Street and in the Greater areas of New Orleans!

Now Living in New Orleans, LA...Kyndra has taken the Soul and Funk World by Storm.. Her Debut Album, The Experience, has been said to be "A breath of fresh air", "Reviving Live Music", and "Soul at its Finest"! This CD can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and can be Heard on Spotify and iHeart Radio! It also can be ordered off of her website,www.kyndrajoi.com/store.html.
