Shocking and dangerous video of two people hitching a ride on the BACK of a bus along a major Staten Island thoroughfare over the Christmas weekend.
In the video, filmed on the evening of December 24 on Staten Island, the two can be seen holding on to the back of the moving bus, which is going along a busy road.
The filmer said that the two rode on the back of the bus for a few minutes until the bus stopped at its next location.
He captioned "miss the bus?? NOT TODAY," to Twitter on Christmas Eve and described it on Twitter as a scene "straight out of the movies."
According to the filmer, the vehicle was an MTA bus, operated by New York City Transit Authority.
Local media reported an MTA spokeswoman as saying that the stunt was an "extremely dangerous and illegal -- not to mention stupid -- activity to engage in."
