North Korea Supplied With Oil By Russian Tankers

According to two senior Western European security sources, Russian tankers have supplied fuel to North Korea on at least three occasions in recent months. The tankers have transferred cargoes at sea. They have provided an economic lifeline to the secretive Communist state.
The security sources said the sales of oil or oil products from Russia breach U.N. sanctions. Russia is the world's second biggest oil exporter and a veto-wielding member of the United Nations Security Council.
