A huntsman named Kitty got busy building an egg sac in a Queensland home after reportedly mating and eating her partner, according to a woman who captured the domestic duties in a December 30 video.YouTube entomologist Lisa Donovan said her holoconia immanis, more commonly referred to as a grey huntsman, mated with a wild male “which she promptly killed and ate after”. Kitty is seen in this timelapse laying her babies into the sac before spinning her protective webbing over the top.A huntsman can produce around 200 baby spiders at once.
