Supreme Court says, An adult girl can take her own decision | वनइंडिया हिंदी

Striking hard at the societal tendency to impose restrictions on girls with regard to their choice of dress, profession and life partner, the SC declared that an adult woman enjoyed an unfettered right to lead a life of her choice.

Bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud says "It needs no special emphasis to state that attaining the age of majority in an individual's life has its own significance. S/he is entitled to make her/his choice. The courts cannot, as long as the choice remains, assume the role of parens patriae ," Watch this video for more details.


सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि बालिग लड़की को अपनी जिंदगी का फैसला करने का पूरा अधिकार है। चीफ जस्टिस दीपक मिश्रा की अगुवाई वाली बेंच ने कहा कि बालिग लड़कियों को पूरा अधिकार है कि वे अपनी मर्जी से फैसला लें और उसमें कोई भी रोक नहीं लगाया जा सकता। अदालत ने कहा कि वे आजादी का उपयोग कर सकती हैं और बालिग के तौर पर वह जहां जाना चाहे जा सकती हैं और जो चाहे कर सकती हैं। पूरी जानकारी के लिए देखें ये वीडियो |
