Basic Income Expected to Be More Politically Mainstream In 2018

The idea of basic income is expected to become more politically mainstream in 2018. Jim Pugh, a basic income expert based in San Francisco told Business Insider that we will soon see “concrete basic income proposals introduced in 2018, with a focus on the state and city level.” There are around a dozen experiments playing out currently worldwide, all various approaches to the same idea.
