Thrawn could appear in Rogue One and Rebels

There was a report on makingstarwarsnews.net last month alleging that Thrawn will make an appearance on Star Wars Rebels in Season 3. There is also a rumor that Thrawn will make an appearance in Star Wars Rogue One. \r

This brings up the question as to whether or not Disney will tie Star Wars Rebels to the live-ion s. If we have the same charer pursuing the Rebels on Lothal also being involved with the band of Rebels in Rogue One, then can we conclude that somehow what the Rebels on Lothal are doing will imp what happens in Rogue One?\r
