In an interview with CBS This Morning, Curry revealed the firing hurt her but she got over it.
Curry also addressed the sexual harassment scandal that brought down her former co-host, Matt Lauer.
Curry says she was "not surprised" by the sexual misconduct allegations against Lauer.
