Roku TV for Your RV
I apologize in advance for the “wiggly” video but I was holding my camera.
We have found that the cable TV signals at most of the RV parks we stay at, those that have cable, that is, tends to be pretty weak. Many times, the picture we get is pretty fuzzy.
We also found, on the other hand, that those parks that have WIFI tend to have pretty good signals.
About four years ago we “cut the cord” and ditched cable TV for over-the-air TV. Then we heard about Roku. Simply put, Roku allows you to watch free and paid video content on your TV via the Internet. TV and Movie streaming services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Sling TV, YouTube and more are loaded on the Roku similar to how apps are loaded onto a smartphone. You can get most of what you get on cable without having to pay cable bills.
If you don’t want to buy a Roku TV, you can get the Roku Stick. The Roku Stick streams Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and the rest in an ultra-compact design for an affordable price. The best part is that you can use it in your house and, when you want to go RVing, you can use the same stick with the TV in your RV.
