THe law states that a Video player must not be able to operate if the car is in motion if visible to the driver, the handbrake switch is the usual method of accomplishing this . However getting to the wiring and the handbrake switch can sometimes be awkward so this method that only allow the Video to be used while the ignition is off , but not interfering with the reversing camera can be used .
