FPS Tutorial Series #02 Part 1 - Raycast Shooting - Unity 5
The second part of the FPS tutorialin Unity 5. In this tutorial, well be basically setting up a real simple shooting system, with no shoot effects, for the time being. We will use basic raycast functionality for this . In a later , we will have a more advanced system where we spawn a projectile and check for collisions, bullet drop etc. \r
Thisis further divided into two parts, the first where we setup a basic shooting system, and the second where we combine that with a simple shooting animation (using mecanim as our base animation system). Thiswent for too long so I was forced to split it in two sections. \r
\r
By the way, I am still open for any 3d artists or animators, willing to model or animate for this tutorials . Would be greatly appreciated.\r
\r
Hope you enjoy and found this useful. Let me know what do you think I should work on for the next part of this tutorial . \r
