If Congress president Rahul Gandhi is under the impression that he has managed to evolve as the 'king of pun and sarcasm' (mostly by attacking the rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi) with his witty and sharp one-liners on Twitter in the recent past, then he might need to do some serious introspection. The ruling BJP which has been quietly sulking over regular taunts against its top leaders by the Congress president has decided to pay him back in his own coin. Rahul, who reached Shillong, Meghalaya, to campaign in the poll-bound state on Tuesday was seen flaunting a reportedly expensive jacket. The BJP slightly tweaked Rahul's "suit-boot ki sarkar" jibe with "soot-boot ki sarkar" taunt to imply the rampant irregularities in coal mining in Meghalaya, the northeastern state which is under the Congress' rule for the last 15 years.
