Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Teardown and Reassemble Guide Video steps:\r

Step 1\r

Power down the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.\r
\r
Step 2\r
\r
Eject the SIM card tray, and SIM card and microSD card tray, from the side of the Samsung phone.\r
\r
Step 3 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Display Assembly)\r
\r
The 5.5-inch Galaxy J7 Prime display assembly is glued on solidly and is a tight fit within the frame. Apply heat to soften the adhesive.\r
\r
Use the precision knife to create enough space to insert a playing card.\r
\r
With the playing card slice through the sticky adhesive and carefully decouple the Galaxy J7 Prime screen from the phone.\r
\r
The display assembly is still connected to the Samsung phone, so dont try to remove it entirely just yet.\r
\r
Remove the bracket that covers the display cable. \r
\r
Detach the cable from motherboard and free the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime display assembly.\r
\r
Step 4 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Midframe)\r
\r
Peel up the 3 pieces of black tape.\r
\r
Remove the following 16 Phillips screws.\r
\r
The Galaxy J7 Prime midframe is secured by snug, press-fit notches. Use the triangle opening tool to release the clips and separate it from the rear enclosure.\r
\r
Step 5 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Loudspeaker, Volume Buttons Cable, and Power Button Cable)\r
\r
Pry the Galaxy J7 Prime loudspeaker up from the metal housing.\r
\r
The next 2 components extred are ribbon cables that contain the volume buttons switches and power button switch. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime power and volume buttons are nuzzled securely in the rear case, defying conventional removal.\r
\r
Step 6 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Motherboard)\r
\r
Disconnect the 3 cables from the motherboard.\r
\r
Remove the following 2 Phillips screws.\r
\r
Carefully lift out the Galaxy J7 Prime motherboard.\r
\r
Step 7 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Front-Facing Camera and Rear-Facing Camera)\r

Remove the impressive 8-megapixel Galaxy J7 Prime front-facing “selfie” camera.\r
\r
Detach the 13-megapixel Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime rear-facing camera from the motherboard.\r

Step 8 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Earpiece Speaker, Vibrator, Home Button with Fingerprint Scanner, Headphone Jack, Signal Cable, and Capacitive Sensors for the Bottom Buttons)\r
\r
Tweeze out the spring-cont-connected Galaxy J7 Prime earpiece speaker.\r
\r
Remove the vibrator from the chassis.\r
\r
Pop out the capacitive sensor for the bottom “recent” button.\r
\r
Remove the Galaxy J7 Prime home button and fingerprint scanner from the midframe.\r
\r
The next component to surrender is a cable array that includes the 3.5mm headphone jack, a signal cable, and the capacitive sensor for the bottom “back” button.\r
\r
Step 9 (Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Battery)\r
\r
A good amount of adhesive secures the 3,300 milliampere-hour Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime battery to the midframe. With help from the triangle opening tool we free it from the adhesive.\r
