Crowds marched through Jenin in the West Bank on February 6, after Israeli forces killed a resident of the town earlier that day.Ahmad Nasr Jarrar, who was killed by Israeli forces in the town of al-Yamoun, about five kilometers west of Jenin, was suspected of being responsible for a shooting near the settlement of Havat Gil’ad, on January 9, in which Rabbi Raziel Shevach was killed.The Israeli Defense Forces said that Jarar was “armed with an M16 assault rifle and explosive devices when security forces shot him”.
