Crowdfunding saves crumbling French chateau

A romantic ruin of a castle in central-west France has been rescued by a collective crowdfund effort to save it from destruction. La Mothe-Chandeniers castle now has nearly 25,000 new, proud co-owners, who raised 1.6 million euros between them to buy the site.
