This is my 2nd day Manali travel video diary & guides. Major places I covered in this day are - Hadimba Devi Temple, Dhungri Van Vihar ( Jungle surfing), sightseeing & Hiking up to waterfall and eating there.\r
As we so much tired in the first day, we sleep till 12 in the morning, then after taking shower we moved to see places around. When I wake up, I saw a beautiful green hill and in far also some snow, then suddenly I remembered temperature of Delhi a day before - boiling 45 C (116 F). We then headed to look for eating some nice breakfast. We ended up a Punjabi breakfast house, where we ate Parantha, Anchar, Lassi & Yougurt. Taste was not really good though I will not complain.\r

HADIMBA TEMPLE :\r
We wanted to start our adventure in Manali with spiritual and religious visit, so we decided to dig out first Manalis one of the famous temple - Hidimba, also known as Hadimba Devi Temple.A very old temple of goddess Hadimba built in 1553AD in shikhara style. The shikhara or tower of the temple has got 3 square shaped roof with length of 24 meter.\r
According to Mahabharata, Pāndavas stayed in Himachal Pradesh during their exile. The strongest person of Manali, Hidimba and brother of Hidimdi, attacked them, and in the ensuing fight Bhima, strongest amongst the Pandavas, killed him. Bhima and Hidimbas sister, Hidimbi, then got married and had a son, Ghatotkacha, who later proved to be a great warrior in the war against Kauravas. When Bhima and his brothers returned from exile, Hidimbi did not accompany him, but stayed back and did tapasyā (a combination of meditation, prayer, and penance) so as to eventually attain the status of a goddess.\r

DHUNGRI VAN VIHAR MANALI:\r
In the back side of the Hadimba Devi temple, there is a beautiful jungle with very tall trees and also big giant holy stones. A small pond you will also find in the jungle and you strictly prohibited to make it dirty or throw garbage. You will find few stones where people has written their names , their love one names. The jungle is really peaceful and in winter everything gets covered with snow which becomes magnificent to see. If you get little down you will also start seeing some beautiful mountains.\r

HIKING :\r
I am always very passionate about hills & mountains, so hiking is my natural by birth hobby , hehe :D . There are many hills as I already mentioned in Manali, Himanchal Pradesh, you can do hiking anywhere, but while travelling along the river side, you will find some really nice waterfall, you can start hiking aiming to reach them. We did one hiking there too, you can see below in video.\r
\r
We did not expected it will get so cold, so borrowed someones blanket :p\r
But be careful, dont get late at top, There are plenty amounts of leopards roaming around. We made 6 PM there and we had no idea we will get caught in dark. The more fun was to get down the hill but very scary and dangerous. We also saw a leopard on the way down. I will never ever forget the return of this hiking, one of the most dangerous adventure of my life.. try to imagine it, completely dark, holding the roots , grasses, spines we came down. One of my friend got serious cut of his leg by some woods. But overall best memories of my life.\r
